PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new hot water supply tank layout method wherein the layout of a hot water supply tank can be freely performed to a bathing device. SOLUTION: With this bathing device 100, a bather sitting on a wheelchair is carried into a bathtub together with the seat section or a bather lying on a stretcher is carried into the bathtub together with the lying section, and the bather is bathed. The hot water supply tank layout method is a layout method for a hot water supply tank 20 having a hot water supply/recovering function. In this case, a section 19 to be connected to piping is arranged on the back surface 10A side of the bathing device 100, and on both side surfaces, which become the longitudinal direction X of the hot water supply tank, a base piping connecting section 22 is provided, respectively. Thus, either one of the base piping connecting sections provided on both side surfaces of the hot water supply tank can be selectively connected to the section to be connected to the piping of the bathing device. Therefore, the layout of the hot water supply tank can be freely performed to the bathing device.
