SOLUTION: The hot water apparatus is provided with a water receiving container 8, a water supply channel 10 to guide the tap water to the water receiving container and a hot water discharge channel 5 to guide the hot water boiled by a heating container 1 to the outside. The water receiving container 8 is configured to cover the opening section of the heating container 1 so that water can be easily supplied without opening a cover and hot insulation can be realized efficiently and with a simple structure.
