PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a coiled wave spring capable of easily accelerating a working speed for a spring material and keeping a forming dimension in a reqired precision. SOLUTION: A rotation output of a servomotor 14 having a wide range variable speed range region is converted to a reciprocal motion by reciprocation conversion mechanisms 20, 22, 24, a forming blade to form a spring material to a wave shape is driven by the reciprocate motion.
