PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize certainty of transfer, improvement of working efficiency and certainty of pressing work. SOLUTION: This leveling apparatus comprises a pressing roller 13 placed on the upstream side position on a transferring table 1 for transferring a seedling-raising container which soil has been fed into, a rotary brush 40 placed on the downstream side of the pressing roller 13, and a scraper 30 placed between the pressing roller 13 and the rotary brush 40. The scraper 30 is constructed in such a manner that it is interlocked with the pressing roller 13, and at the same time, its height is controllable. The height of the rotary brush 40 is independently controllable.
