PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for game which eliminates drop in expected effect of a value adding function as caused by the failure in addition of values resulted from the recovery of a prepaid card. SOLUTION: The apparatus 3 for game has a recording medium processing means 317 which is installed corresponding to a game machine 2 and receives a recording medium for game having recorded information enabled to specify the level of an available value for game used in the game at the game machine 2 to accomplish a processing for converting the available value for game with the level specified from the recorded information of the recording medium for game received to a game medium to be used in the game, cash identification means 315 and 316 which receive cash to identify the received cash and implements a value addition processing to add the available value for game whose level is equivalent to the amount of the received cash with the results of the identification justified up to the available value for game involved when the available value for game is left as specified by the recording medium for game. When the left available value for game is down to 'Q' from that larger than a specified value as predetermined with the holding of specified conversion conditions, the available value for game is left as the above specified value.
