PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game apparatus and an information recording medium which allow a player to enjoy the contents of a game itself by offering challenge a plurality of times with easier setting of the level of difficulty. SOLUTION: A player selects any of premium housing parts where desired premia are housed by depressing an up key 24 or a down key 26 after the feeding of a coin into a coin slot part 20 and thereafter, a start/stop key 28 is depressed. A 5-digit number corresponding to the selected medium housing part is shown on a display part 14 and number or the like is shown cyclically on a lower display part 16. Each time the start/stop key 28 is depressed by the player, switching operation of the display of each digit is,stopped at the display part 16 to perform a number matching game. Thus, if within limited time, the player can play the number matching game any times as desired.
