PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit a single wave, a burst wave or a continuous wave by the same circuit even in the case of a TTL level of trigger pulse in a transmitting circuit for an ultrasonograph. SOLUTION: High voltage is applied to a switching element Q2 when transmitting a single wave or several waves, and low voltage is applied thereto in the case of a continuous wave. The gate voltage VG of the switching element Q2 is controlled by a control voltage V1. In the case of source voltage being high, V1 is set to the same value as the source voltage, and in the case of the source voltage being set to low voltage, V1 is set to a value lower than the low voltage. The switching element Q2 can thereby be positively put in action even in any transmission mode.
