PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a large wheel buffering device of a wheelchair, capable of relaxing the impact accompanied by the unevenness of an earth surface to reduce the troublesomeness generated when the wheelchair gets over a stepped part, or the like, without applying load to a user. SOLUTION: This large wheel buffering device of the wheelchair is constituted of a movable arm 11 supporting a large wheel 4 in a freely rotating state and moving along with the large wheel 4 correspondingly to the unevenness of the earth surface, a fixed arm 12 provided to a support frame 3 in a freely detachable manner in a fixed state and a buffer body 13 provided between the movable arm 11 and the fixed arm 12 and permitting a change in the relative position of the large wheel 4 and the support frame 3 by its elastic force.
