PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a writable layer excellent in the writing properties and ink fixability due to an aqueous pen or gel ink pen and having proper friction force and hardness. SOLUTION: In a writable sheet 10 consisting of a support and the recording layer provided on the support, the recording layer is formed using a paint prepared by mixing 10-50 parts by weight of particles with a mean particle size of 7-200 (nm) and a plasticizer with 100 (parts by weight) of a self-crosslinkable polyvinyl alcohol resin obtained by graft-polymerizing a crosslinkable monomer and an acid monomer.
