PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a writing apparatus which can execute high speed writing operation by greatly improving the frequency of miss fit of row address occurring frequently. SOLUTION: The writing apparatus comprises means for mapping a bank of writing memories alternately with odd lines and even lines, and means for controlling the operation to write logically operated previous data simultaneously with reading of next destination during logical operation of data. Operation is controlled to read next line in advance at the time of line feed so that the bank is different without fail thus preventing miss fit of row address at the time of data write.
