<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for decomposing a harmful polyhalogenated compound, capable of effectively utilizing the knetic energy of combustion exhaust gas of a burner and requiring no special piping system. SOLUTION: A heating system using a burner is employed in order to heat a high temperature radiator 42 and the mixed gas of fuel and air introduced into a combustion chamber 43 from a premixing gas piping is burnt in the combustion chamber 43 to heat the high temperature radiator 42. The combustion exhaust gas being the revolving stream in the combustion chamber 43 is converted to an axial stream by a distribution plate 47 to become an ejector stream 48 which then passes through a pipe enlarging part to suck treated gas. Accordingly, the sucking action of the treated gas is generated by the combustion exhaust gas. The treated gas and the combustion exhaust gas are mixed in a lower pipe enlarging part 49 but, since the combustion exhaust gas performs adiabatic expansion, the temperature of the mixed gas of the treated gas and the combustion exhaust gas lowers suddenly and, therefore, the re-synthesis of dioxins can be prevented.</p> |
