PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing plant seeds for the next generation that can be grown up to a plant having excellent yielding ability and cultivation properties by utilizing the conventional strain as it is. SOLUTION: In the cultivation space in which CO2 concentration is controlled, for example, half-closed space, a green house or a vinyl house in which the concentration of CO2 is raised 200 ppm higher than in the standard atmosphere, or in an open crop fields in which CO2 increasing apparatus is used, are grown the plants belonging to cereals, industrial crops, crops for livestock feeds, pastures, vegetables or flower plants to collect the seeds from these plants as the seeds for next generation. The resultant seeds grow up plants superior to the control in the yield and cultivation, for example, in the case of rice plant, the grain yield increases by 20%.
