PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems that there is a possibility of an electric shock when an operator stays between high-voltage electrodes and an earthed electrode in a conventional apparatus for exterminating weeds. SOLUTION: This apparatus for exterminating the weeds is obtained by fixing a positive and a negative electrodes 12 connected to a high-voltage generator 17 at a prescribed interval on a supporting part 11 connected to a gripping part 15, keeping the distance between the electrodes 12 constant, designed to fix the electrodes 12 on the supporting part 11 connected to the gripping part 15 operated by a hand without thereby making the operator stay between the electrodes 12, and is capable of safely exterminating the weeds.
