PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the number of passing vehicles from reducing and to eliminate driver's mental anxiety by eliminating the delay of starting at an intersection even when a traffic quantity is increased. SOLUTION: On-vehicle equipments 6 are mounted on vehicles 5. A road equipment 4 is arranged on this side of a signal device for a vehicle 2 at a road 1 to transmit a traveling control signal to the plural vehicles 5 stopping at the signal to start at the same time. A vehicles 5 communicates with the road device 4 by means of a front antenna 9 to receive a traveling control signal to control by means of an on-vehicle computer and transmits the traveling control signal to the equipment 6 of a following vehicle 5 through a re-antenna 10. The equipment 6 of the following vehicle 5 stopping at a very short distance receives this and successively transmits it to a vehicle 5 following it. Thereby the vehicles 5 can simultaneously start while staying at the distance between vehicles at the time of stopping and can control traveling according to the operation of a brake, etc., to eliminate driver's mental anxiety. |
