The medium feed device, particularly a pipe (2,4), for transport of medium, is fitted with a vibration damper (10), which has a visco-elastic component functionally connected to the medium feed pipe and also with one or more rigid components. Each rigid component has a greater rigidity than the visco-elastic component, so that the vibration damper damps the vibrations of the medium feed device. The pipe conveying medium has a ring-shaped rigid component provided around it.
