PURPOSE:To efficiently drive a wheel drive motor by calculating a required flow rate of oil for cooling a coil from a vehicle speed, an accelerator manipulating degree, a coil temperature of the wheel drive motor and an oil temperature, and by delivering the thus calculated flow rate to an oil pump. CONSTITUTION:There are provided an oil circulating path for feeding oil to a wheel drive motor while the oil is cooled by the rotary shaft of the motor and the wall surface part of a casing storing therein the wheel drive motor, and an oil pump. Further, an oil flow rate calculating means 70 calculates a required flow rate of the oil for cooling a coil in the wheel drive motor, from values detected by a vehicle speed detecting means 36, an accelerator manipulating degree detecting means 61, a coil temperature detecting means 62 and an oil temperature detecting means 63. An oil pump outlet control means 70 delivers the value calculated by the oil flow rate calculating means 70 to the oil pump. Accordingly, the coil is cooled so as to prevent damage of the wheel drive motor, thereby it is possible to enhance durability. |
