<p>PURPOSE:To reduce an air intake sound or a pulsation sound with an intake hose proper, while preventing an increase in intake resistance as much as possible. CONSTITUTION:This hose is made of a hose body 1, a cylindrical sponge layer 2 laid along the internal surface thereof and sealed space 3 formed between the body 1 and the layer 2. According to this construction, the vibrations of the air dawn into the hose body 1 are absorbed by the sponge layer 2 and a frequency band absorbed due to the existence of the space 3 is widened, thereby effectively preventing the occurrence of a noise.</p> |
