REPAIRING AND POLISHING METHOD FOR FLAME OF HYDROPHILIC COATING FILM SURFACE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a repairing and polishing method for a flaw of hydrophilic coating film surface capable of sufficiently removing the flaw, having a good finish after repaired without impairing an antifouling function against a city type contaminant of a hydrophilic coating film in the case where the flaw of hydrophilic coating film surface is repaired. SOLUTION: The repairing and polishing method of the flaw of the hydrophilic coating film surface includes a step that a buff polishing composition is applied on a hydrophilic coating film; and a step that the hydrophilic coating film surface on which the buff polishing composition is applied is buff-polished. The buff-polishing composition contains water and a water-soluble high boiling point liquid-like organic compound and is any one of a combination of an abrasive grain and a dispersing agent or a polishing agent or an aqueous composition further containing both of them.
