PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that the tip of the raking portion of a conventional head-forming vegetable harvester is apart from a cabin and is hard to see, and a problem that the lateral weight balance of the harvester is largely bad. SOLUTION: This head-forming vegetable harvester having a pulling pre- treatment device 10 for pulling out head-forming vegetables, a cutting device 20 for cutting the root stem portions of the vegetables, and a longitudinally carrying device 11 for nipping and rearward carrying the formed head portions, in a travel device, characterized by disposing a pair of carrying belts 19L, 19R for forming the longitudinally carrying device 11 in the longitudinal direction, disposing the carrying belt 19R on the side of the cabin in a notched shape on the side of the cabin on the plane view, and guiding one of the carrying belts 19L, 19R at a place on the side of the cabin with a fixed tension rotation wheel and the other with a movable tension rotation wheel.
