PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make steering and tilling operations of a small-size tending machine easier. SOLUTION: This small-size tending machine 10 is the one of a type having a resistant bar 37 to be inserted into the soil, and capable of tilling and traveling by the rotation of tillage tines 14 and 15 mounted on a tillage shaft 13 by rotating the tillage shaft 13 by an engine 11 through a power transmission structure 12. A steering handle 30 is attached to the rear part of the power transmission structure 12 through a pivot 20. The front part from the pivot 20 in the view of the small-size tending machine 10 from the operator side can be swung in the right and left direction to the operation handle 30.
