PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine tool of such a configuration that a number of tools in a tool magazine are transferred to a tool presetter automatically, the tool dimensions are measured automatically, and again the tools are transferred to the tool magazine. SOLUTION: The machine tool of built-in tool presetter type includes a tool magazine storing a number of tools and a tool presetter to measure the tool dimensions, wherein tool with dimensions unmeasured are first stored in the magazine, and then the tools are transferred from the magazine to the tool presetter which performs automatic measurement of the dimensions of each tool, and again the tools are transferred to the magazine automatically.
