PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the extraction number of times of paper sheets. SOLUTION: A full state detection part 27 for detecting the full state of an accumulation box and a paper sheet presence detection part 26 for detecting the presence of paper sheets in the accumulation box are provided and an accumulation box group is formed from a plurality of normal accumulation boxes each accumulating paper sheets corresponding to classifying data and a plurality of preparatory accumulation boxes each alloting the classifying data of the normal accumulation box at the time of full state of the normal accumulation box to accumulate paper sheets. When the full state of the certain normal accumulation box in the accumulation box group is detected by the full state detection part and the paper sheet presence detection part detects that the paper sheets are not accumulated in the preparatory accumulation box in the accumulation box group, a classifying data control part 33 allots the classifying data of the full normal accumlation box to the preparatory accumulation box and, until the full state is detected by the full state detection part, the extraction of paper sheets in the accumlation box is not performed.
