PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air dryer which prevents an accident due to short circuit in an air blowing means from happening when water enters accidentally through a suction opening or a nozzle. SOLUTION: The air dryer is provided with a dryer main body 11 equipped with the nozzle 61 that blows air and suction opening 14 that sucks air and a motor driven blower 31 which sucks air through the suction opening 14 arranged in the dryer main body 11 as well as blows out the sucked air through the nozzle 61. Water sensors 70, 80 for detecting intruding water in the main body 11 are arranged in the vicinity of the nozzle 61 and the suction opening 14.
