PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain amino acid-containing tablets easy to take, by using only a small amount of a vehicle with seldom causing troubles in tablet-making operation. SOLUTION: The amino acid-based tablets are such as to have used lactitol as vehicle. The tablets are obtained by granulating an amino acid and lactitol together under agitation followed by drying and then making a tableting operation.
