PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly clean the dropped material such as cut-off slag dropped from a cut-off surface plate A. SOLUTION: A receiving plate 12 inclined toward the center is arranged over the whole range of the lower surface of the surface plate A and the dropped material is received with this receiving plate 12. Opposite to cleaning spaces S dividing the receiving plate 12, drums 21 winding a link chain are arranged shiftably along the surface plate and an air tube is attached to the chain and a nozzle is arranged at the tip part of the air tube. The slag, etc., are collected to the center part with the air injection from the nozzle by feeding the chain into the spaces S and also collected with a scraper and dropped onto a conveyor 13 from an opening part 12a and conveyed to a prescribed position. The drums 21 are set at both sides of the surface plate A and shifted to each space S to conduct the cleaning of the slag, etc.
