PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air spray gun used in two modes for a small pattern and a large pattern and capable of using simple parts. SOLUTION: The air spray gun has a switching valve structure 35 provided in an inner air passage 23 for supplying compressed air to a discharge port 21 of a pattern air for regulating the form of a coating material jetting flow jetted from the air spray gun 1 and provided with a movable valve 39 energized in the valve closing direction by a compressed spring 41, an air hole 43 formed at the tip part of the movable valve 39 and for supplying a small quantity of air to a pattern air discharge port 21 from an internal air passage 23 in a state that the movable valve 39 is seated on a valve seat 37 and a connection link 45 for connecting the movable valve 39 and a trigger 7 to each other and a slot 47 for breaking the linkage between the trigger 7 and the movable valve body 39 during a time from the initial operation of worker to draw the trigger 7 to the half way to fully draw.
