PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a picture frame which can be used to display both thin pictures such as sketches or wood block prints and thick pictures such as canvases without replacing a back plate. SOLUTION: The picture frame comprises a picture frame body 1, a transparent plate 4 which is inserted into the picture frame body 1 and the back plate 5. The back plate 5 comprises a back plate body 51 and a frame body 52 which is disposed surrounding the circumference of the back plate body 51 on one side, and is reversed for use according to the thickness of a picture 6.
