PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink cartridge in which unevenness of print can be reduced by suppressing generation of sedimentation ink even if pigment ink is left as it is while supplying the pigment ink. SOLUTION: The ink cartridge comprises a section for storing pigment ink internally holding an ink absorbing material, an ink supply section formed under the ink storing section and having an internal passage for interconnecting the inside and outside of the ink storing section extending to an internal opening in the ink storing section from the outside thereof, and a member for lessening pigment flow in a specified sedimentation part where sedimentation of pigment easily progresses or ink flow to the sedimentation part in order to suppress generation of sedimentation ink when dye floating in the pigment ink settles to increase the concentration. |
