PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a curved hollow article which is simple in process and can reuse a core and an apparatus for the method. SOLUTION: A core actuation means 4 has a movable gear 42 linked to a non-consumption core 3, a driving means for rotating the gear 42, and an immovable gear 43 which is arranged at a prescribed position in relation to a mold and has a tooth part 43a engaging with the gear 42 on an arc surface 43b the center of which is the center of the above arc. By rotating and moving the movable gear 42 on the tooth part 43a through the engagement between the gear 42 and the tooth part 43a, the core 3 can enter/retreat from the mold on an arc locus the center of which is the center of the imaginary arc of the curved hollow article formed in a cavity C.
