PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing device for poured molten metal stream in which the invasion of the air into the sealing device is prevented as much as possible and the molten metal having desired cleanliness can surely be produced. SOLUTION: In the sealing device 1 for poured molten metal stream when the molten metal poured into a vessel 3 for receiving the molten metal disposed at the lower part of a pouring nozzle 4 from the pouring nozzle 4 disposed at the bottom part of the vessel 2 for holding the molten metal, this sealing device 1 is provided with a helmet part 6 fitted to the pouring nozzle 4, a seal pipe 8 arranged at the opening part 7 for receiving the molten metal in the vessel 3 for receiving the molten metal, an annular inert gas spouting part 10 arranged on the seal pipe 8 and having an inert gas spouting hole 9 toward the upper part and an intermediate cylindrical body 11 arranged between the helmet part 6 and the inert gas spouting part 10.
