PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To output a report list easy to read by preventing the contact of a character and overwrite printing of a description item. SOLUTION: This printer comprises a counting section 6 for counting the number of characters in a specific line, a paper section 7 for detecting a width of an output paper sheet, a formatting section 8 for adjusting and determining a describing position based on the counted number of the characters and the detected width of the paper sheet, a printing section 2 for printing on the describing position in the output paper determined by the formatting section 8 and an output section 5 for outputting the printed paper sheet. As a result of the above structure, it is possible to form description information without being limited by the adjustment of the describing position and the limitation of the number of characters, to enlarge the degree of freedom in the description information and to output the report list easy to read and superior in appearance. |
