PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in that since in the conventional feed chain, its supporting shaft which becomes a fulcrum for its rotation, is pivoted almost perpendicularly, the chain rotates horizontally in all of its locus of open rotation and makes a contact with a cover for its machine frame, and since its self weight does not work, it is necessary to engage the chain powerfully by an engaging device at the starting end and final end of the rotation. SOLUTION: This feed chain-opening device is provided by constituting the feed chain 3 installed along the threshing port 2 of a threshing chamber 1 as capable of making an open rotation to its outside by using the supporting shaft 4 at the starting end as its rotating fulcrum, and pivoting the supporting shaft 4 so as to incline its lower part to the outside and upper part to inside in a frontal view of the threshing chamber 1 and incline its lower part to the lower side in cereal culm-conveying direction and the upper part to the upper side in a side view of the threshing chamber 1.
