PURPOSE: A squeezing device of a wet type developer is provided to prevent toner from being accumulated on the surface of a squeeze roller. CONSTITUTION: A squeezing device of a wet type developer includes a conductive squeeze roller(300), a back-up roller(310), and a voltage applying unit(320). The squeeze roller compresses the transfer face of a photosensitive belt with a developing solution containing toner. The back-up roller is placed opposite to the squeeze roller, having the photosensitive belt between the back-up roller and the squeeze roller, to support compression force of the squeeze roller. The voltage applying unit applies voltage higher than the voltage applied to the photosensitive belt to the squeeze roller to form bias voltage biased from the squeeze roller toward the photosensitive belt for the toner. The voltage applied to the squeeze roller is higher than the voltage applied to the photosensitive belt by 100V to 300V.
