PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a display for guiding a performance small in an electronic instrument or the like, and also to make it possible to guide a performance suitably for a practice. SOLUTION: A performance is guided on a display 61 of 8 columns and 1 row. Scale sound of imitation sound and compass are made to correspond to plural key ranges (compass) or plural pads on a keyboard. The 8 columns and 1 row are made to correspond to a bar, and the 1st and 2nd columns are made to correspond to the 1st beat, the 3rd and 4th columns to the 2nd beat, the 5th and 6th columns to the 3rd beat, and the 7th and 8th columns to the 4th beat, respectively. Based on the sequence data for practice, a key range or pad to be operated is displayed in number to the columns corresponding to the timing at intervals of a eighth note. To the columns corresponding to the present performance timing, under bars are displayed for showing the present performance timing. Any key mode, in which imitation sound and scale sound is generated by any key or pad, is arranged. Reproduction is temporarily halted by a wrong key or pad operation, and restarted by a correct key or pad operation. |
