<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network facsimile machine that can manage which request source uses a facsimile communication charge by an off-ramp gateway. SOLUTION: Upon the receipt of a mail (YES in S1), a 'To' address of the received mail is analyzed (S3). When the mail indicates no FAX request (NO in S3), the mail is printed out on a plotter as a usual received mail (S4). When the mail is a FAX request mail (YES in S3), the facsimile machine faxes data to a designated FAX (S5) and stores an imposed communication charge into a system memory (S6). When an output time of a communication management report comes (YES in S7), off-ramp requests are separately outputted (S8). When an output time of a charge management report comes (YES in S9) and mail information is requested (YES in S10), totaled charges are separated depending on request sources and a mail denoting the totaled charge is sent to each request source depending on the request sources (S11). When not (NO in S10), the totaled charge is separated by the request sources and the result is outputted as the charge management report (S12).</p> |
