PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soft switching DC-DC converter capable of detecting the timing failure of a dead time easily and adjusting the dead time to an ideal period. SOLUTION: In outputting the time derivative signal of the output voltage of the DC-DC converter with a differentiating circuit and switching ON/OFF of two switching elements based on a time derivative signal given by the differentiating circuit with a dead time adjusting circuit, the timing of the dead time for turning off both the two switching elements is adjusted, thereby attaining the above purpose.
