摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electrode structure for a piezoelectric vibration element and a frequency adjusting method which never uses a precise and expensive mask and unnecessitates the element value adjustment of each circuit element after incorporating it in an oscillation circuit in the case of adjusting a resonance frequency by a method of adding mass to one exciting electrode by a vapor deposition device. SOLUTION: In the piezoelectric vibration element 21 consisting of a piezoelectric element board 22 and exciting electrodes 23 and 24 arranged respectively on both of the main surfaces of the piezoelectric element board opposing each other, in order to generate a positional relation where one of the exciting electrodes enters the area of the other exciting electrode completely, the area of the other exciting electrode is set to be large and the vapor-deposition metal film 25 for adjusting the frequency is deposited on the other exciting electrode.
