PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cast bushing of stable quality free of residual internal stress due to the curing contraction of the resin of the cast bushing with an insulating portion formed of cast resin. SOLUTION: This cast brushing encircles a central conductor and a mounting flange is mounted on the periphery of the intermediate position. A wire mesh is disposed, so that the mesh is concentric with the central conductor, in a bias direction in the interior close to the flange of an insulating portion formed of cast resin to form a cylindrical shape. On both ends, there is embedded an electric field alleviating electrode of a shape folded back toward the periphery side at a curvature radius for reducing the intensity of the electric field below the dielectric strength of a material when voltage is applied.
