发明名称 NONMETALLIC STRUCTURE OF ROTOR CASING
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonmetallic structure of casing for the rotor of a generator which is used in place of conventional enclosure constitution including a rotor wedge section, a rotor tooth section, a retaining ring. SOLUTION: A casing includes a nonmetallic tube (10) which is made of a continuous pipe including a plurality of separate rings (14) and a ventilation port or a ventilating groove (16). A simple rotor assembly works to suppress winding with centrifugal force, using space and material in a more suitable method. By this constitution, copper is used and larger space for ventilation is made, so they become useful both the efficiency and the performance of a machine. By the use of a plurality of independent rings, an additional merit referring to the suppression with centrifugal force is obtained, without marring the effect of modifying the surrounding unbalance in the rigidity of the rotor in the cross groove within the rotor body. Moreover, the ring forms an opening for ventilation which does not introduce stress concentration into the casing.
