PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set an operation mode including the pin allocation of card type electronic equipment from an information processor at the time of initializing the electronic equipment. SOLUTION: At the time of initializing a card 20 mounted on a card interface 11, the initialization basic driver 141 of a host 10 acquires the information of the operation mode preserved in a card register group 21, that is, the information of the operation mode capable of specifying the signal allocation to a signal line DAT [3:0] of the card 20 utilizable in data transfer, by a response from the card 20 to a common procedure using a CMD line regardless of the type of the card 20 and a card kind in the case that the card 20 is an I/O card. The initialization basic driver 141 permits the operation of the card 20 in the acquired operation mode, performs the signal allocation to the DAT [3:0] intrinsic to the operation mode and switches and sets a data transfer width. |
