摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flow rate and flowing velocity measuring apparatus, capable of accurately measuring a flowing velocity and a flow rate of the flow forward for a long period by preventing contamination of a detection element by a contaminant to be conveyed by a back flow. SOLUTION: The flow rate and flowing velocity measuring apparatus comprises a main flow tube, in which a fluid to be measured flows in the forward direction (a direction Mf) or a backward direction (a direction Mc), a distributing tube 2 having a distributing passage 3 connected to the main flow tube and introduced with the fluid to be measured, and the detecting element 7 exposed with the fluid flow in the passage 3. In this case, the passage 3 has a throttle R, formed at an upstream side of the element 6, inflection parts 3a, 3b provided between the element 7 and an outlet 5 to inflect an fluid flow introduced, a retention space 8 for retaining the back flow introduced reversely from the outlet 5 at an outer peripheral side of the part 3b, directly in front of the outlet 5, and a channel wall surface inclined toward a direction to become the downstream side, when the fluid flows in the forward direction (direction Mf) from the upstream side toward the outlet 5 near the outlet 5. In this case, an angleθ, formed between a direction DF of the fluid flow guided from the outlet 5 and the flowing direction of the forward flow Mf, is an acute angle.</p>
