PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a malfunctioning state of an actuator, and to transfer to an operation mode such as fail safe quickly, without adding hardware, in a driver which drives the actuator by a feedback-type current control circuit. SOLUTION: An arithmetic circuit for the program of a control circuit generates a control output, when a target current value is newly set, so as to make the control current of the actuator equal to this target current value. Required control is realized by adding additional software which generates a fault alarm output of the actuator autonomously, to the arithmetic circuit for the program, when the difference between the target current value and a current which is supplied to the actuator after the generation of this control output does not become smaller as acheduled. |
