PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission control method and a transmission control apparatus that can conduct proper access control without causing collision with information sent from other transmitter. SOLUTION: The transmission control method sets prescribed value by each of transmitters (stations A-D) being components of a network as times CS1 (40)-CS4 (43) required until information transmission is started, an optional transmitter senses a carrier over the times. When the transmitter does not detect transmission of information from other transmitters through the carrier sensing, the optional transmitter transmits information. Thus, collision with information sent from the other transmitters can be prevented to realize the access control for information transmission.
