PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding type tent in which a side-face link member is not deformed even when a side wind or the like works and a canvas side face section can be fixed onto a frame member parallel with a ground surface. SOLUTION: End-section joints 5 are capped at the top sections of the column materials 2 of the folding type tent 1, and sliding joints 6 are inserted movably to lower sections. The side-face link members 3 have end-section frames 7 and sliding frames 8 connecting the end-section joints 5 and the sliding joints 6 respectively, the sliding frames 8 are supported to end-section cloth materials 9 connected to the end-section joints 5, and the end-section frames 7 are supported to sliding cloth materials 1 connected to the sliding joints 6. Both end-section frames 7 and sliding frames 8 have hinge joints 11 at centers, and strut materials 12 can be interposed among the hinge joints 11.
