PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject woven fabric having a curved portion and so designed as to keep the space between upper and lower cloths constant and link connective yarns to both the upper and lower cloths, and to provide a method for producing such a woven fabric. SOLUTION: This three-dimensional woven fabric having a curved portion is composed of an upper cloth 1 and a lower cloth 2 and connective yarns 3 linked to both the upper and lower cloths 1 and 2. The connective yarns situated at the curved portion extend toward the center of the curvature of the curved portion, thereby the space between the upper and lower cloths is kept constant. The other objective method for producing such a three-dimensional woven fabric comprises the following two steps: the surfaces, facing each other, of a formwork having a curved portion and a specified thickness are provided with an upper cloth and a lower cloth, respectively; and connective yarns are threaded toward the center of the curvature of the curved portion and set onto both the upper and lower cloths. This three-dimensional woven fabric thus obtained affords such an advantage that a polymeric bag with a curved portion, high in mechanical strength of the connective yarns and constant in hollow portion height can be produced by providing rubber layers on the inner (and outer) surface(s) of the above woven fabric and the yarns.
