PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an operation for capturing a leading piece sure at the time of tape loading by preventing the leading piece which is standing-by held in a case from being shifted or from flying out of the case due to drop shock in a tape cartridge of a single reel type in which the leading piece is fixed at a delivery end of the tape. SOLUTION: The leading piece 13 which is provided with a pair of restraining arms 15 above and below a shaft body 14 is fixed at an end of a leader tape 12. A piece receiving part 19 for catching the restraining arm 15 to execute positioning is recessedly formed above and below an inner surface of a tape outlet 4. A locking tool 20 for locking-holding the leading piece 13 by engaging to the shaft body 14 is provided. The locking tool 20 is pivotally-supported by the tape outlet 4 with freely oscillating and a locking piece 22 thereof is oscillated and energized by a spring 24 in a direction where the shaft body 14 is engaged and captured. Thereby impact force acting on the leading piece 13 is mitigated and absorbed by oscillation of the locking tool 20 against the spring 24.
