PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a drowning accident by a drain inlet even when a part of a human body is sucked into the drain inlet. SOLUTION: When any material exists on the drain inlet 3 when an echo sounder transmitter 1 and an echo sounder receiver 2 are arranged oppositely at an interval from the drain inlet 3, the presence of the material on the drain inlet 3 is detected and the warning and display of the presence of the body are conducted to the surroundings because ultrasonic waves from the echo sounder transmitter 1 cannot be received by the echo sounder receiver 2.
