PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a greening method for a hard slope, which can be easily carried out, and is excellent in drying-resistant properties and hotness-resistant properties. SOLUTION: The greening method for the hard slope is carried out by setting vegetation basic material receiving members protruding from the hard slope at predetermined intervals in the hard slope, spraying a vegetative basic material on the slope, and arranging sedum plants on the sprayed slope. Herein, a rectangular perforated board is for use as the vegetative basic material receiving member, and they are arranged in a transverse direction in a manner being spaced a predetermined interval from each other in a slope direction. Further, the vegetative basic material receiving members may be fixed by support materials. Still further, an oligotrophic vegetative basic material may be for use as the vegetative basic material.
