PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brassiere capable of safely holding a wearer's busts and a pad without giving the wearer uncomfortable feeling, and to provide a lightweight pad having high supporting ability, excellent in bust volume-up and trimming function, and having excellent detachability or fitness. SOLUTION: This brassiere 10 has such a structure that part of a bust- trimming wire 13 arranged at the lower hem part of a cup part 12 is protruded along the inner face of each cup part 12 to form a protruded holding part 13a. A pad 20 comprises a nearly semilunar pad body 21 which is made of an expanded material and the center of which is swollen, hollow part 23 which is contained in the pad body 21 and surrounded by a rigid material 22, flexible layer 24 set on the front face of the pad body 21, hygroscopic layer 25 set on the back face of the pad body 21, hygroscopic fabric material 26 set on the front face of the hygroscopic layer 25 and groove-shaped wire engagement part 21 detachably engageable on the trimming wire 13.
