PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable viewing of images or audio by means of an output signal from a receiving part even in a reservation standby state. SOLUTION: The device is provided with a BS broadcasting receiving part 116 and a CS broadcasting receiving part 123. Signals (video and audio) obtained by the respective receiving parts are outputted through an erasing circuit 152 to a CS/BS output terminal part 151. When a reservation standby key is pressed (pressed for a long time), the erasing circuit 152 is turned into active state and video signals are not outputted to an output terminal part 151 at least. Thus, a VCR connected to the output terminal part 151 is turned into simple recording standby state. At the starting time of a reserved program, the erasing circuit 152 is turned into inactive state and the state of outputting video signals to the output terminal part 151 is provided. Thus, the VCR starts recording. Even in the standby state, the power source of the receiving part is not turned off and viewing of images or audio by means of the output signals from the receiving parts is enabled.
